UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of full-length Hsap\KMT2A which is tagged at the C-terminal end with Tag:FLAG.
The pattern of BrdU incorporation is similar to wild type in the brains of larvae expressing Hsap\MLLScer\UAS.C.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32. Analysis of BrdU labelling indicates that the cells show accelerated cell cycle progression compared to wild type. Chromatin structure appears normal in brain squashes of these larvae.

Expression of Hsap\MLLScer\UAS.C.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 partially rescues the cuticle pattern defects seen in trxB11 homozygous embryos: 9% of embryos have a wild-type cuticle pattern.
