Expression via "HHLT-gal4" or Scer\GAL4^Hml.Δ or Scer\GAL4^Pxn.PS results in loss of progenitor cells in the primary lobes of the larval lymph gland. ("HHLT-gal4" is a combination of Scer\GAL4^HCH.Hand and Scer\GAL4^Hml.Δ that express in early lymph gland blood cells (hemocytes) and circulating and sessile blood cells, respectively, and incorporates Scer\GAL4^{Scer\FRT.Rnor\CD2.Act5C} to maintain expression in the lymph gland after Scer\GAL4^HCH.Hand is down-regulated.)
