      Expression of sraS215A.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 fails to rescue the meiotic phenotype seen in sraKO mutants. No eggs are able to complete meiosis. Expressing sraS215A.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Zzzz\FLAG in a sraKO/+ background results in only 8% of eggs hatching and meiotic defects are observed.
