      Expression of klumiRNA.Scer\UAS using Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 results in the reduction of type II neuroblast lineages, on average, to one compared with the normal number of eight in control larva brains. Compared with controls, the number of type I neuroblasts is slightly reduced as a result of klumiRNA.Scer\UAS-expression using Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407. In addition, klumiRNA.Scer\UAS expression results in a reduction of neuroblast size.
