      Garland cell nephrocytes (GCNs) fuse normally in third instar larvae expressing Mmus\Kirrel3Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 under the control of Scer\GAL4pros.PMG and form binucleate GCNs.

      Overexpression of Mmus\Kirrel3Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 using Scer\GAL4MZ1369 does not result in optic lobe abnormalities with variable penetrance.
