loqs^KO mutant females rescued by loqs^{PA.T:Zzzz\FLAG} together with loqs^{PD.T:Zzzz\FLAG} lay far fewer eggs than wild-type controls. None of the eggs produced by the rescued females hatch. Few of the eggs laid by the rescued females display normal appendages.

loqs^KO mutant females rescued by either loqs^{PA.T:Zzzz\FLAG} or the combination of loqs^{PA.T:Zzzz\FLAG} and loqs^{PD.T:Zzzz\FLAG} display fewer germline stem cells (GSCs) per germaria than wild-type controls.
