    Homozygous escapers reach late pupal development as pharate adults.

    Fkbp14D58 pharates show mild wing margin notching, loss of wing margin bristles, and wing margin bristle doublets.

    Fkbp14D58 third instar wing discs show a loss of SOPs in the presumptive wing margin, pouch and hinge regions.

    Fkbp14D58 pharate nota show significantly reduced numbers of microchaetae and macrochaetae.

    Fkbp14D58 third instar wing discs show a loss of SOPs in the presumptive notum.

    The predominant Fkbp14D58 phenotype is a loss of imaginal discs, with 80% of homozygotes lacking them.

    Females with Fkbp14D58 germline clones are sterile and do not lay eggs.

    Fkbp14D58 somatic clones in imaginal discs are not observed, indicating a requirement of Fkbp14D58 for cell viability.
