Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Dl7 heterozygotes exhibit thickened veins and delta-like wing venation patterns.

Dl7/+ wings exhibit mild deltas and thickening of L2 wing veins.

The wings of heterozygous adults have thickened wing veins and small deltas located near the crossveins.

Wing veins form deltas at their junctions.

The duplication of bristles seen at a low level in heterozygotes is enhanced in combination with RpII215K2, RpII215H1, RpII2157, RpII2154 or RpII215Ubl.

Like Dl5. RK3.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Fkbp14D58/+ and PsnW6/+, but not Fkbp14D34/+, enhance the L2 vein thickening and ectopic deltas seen in Dl7/+ wings.

The wing defects seen in Dl7/+ flies are enhanced by CoRestGF60/+: the extent of thickening and deltas at the wing veins is increased and in some cases severe wing blistering is seen.

Dl7/+ enhances the ommatidial rotation defects induced by the overexpression of dgoScer\UAS.cFa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev.

In double heterozygotes for PsnW6 or PsnW11 the wing vein deltas seen in Dl7 heterozygotes become more pronounced.
