Embryos expressing HeyScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4ftz.ng display a loss of RP2 motor neurons in 52% of the hemisegments (73/140 hemisegments from 9 embryos) suggesting a fate switch RP2> RP2sib. Scer\GAL4ftz.ng>HeyScer\UAS.cMa-expressing embryos also show a loss of dMP2 in 70% of hemisegments (35/50 hemisegment from 2 embryos), consistent with dMP2>vMP2 transformation.
