      Expression of Atxn7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI results in lesions throughout neural and retinal structures in the head.

      The eyes of adults expressing Atxn7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF are normal at eclosion, but show a pronounced rough phenotype by 14 days of age. Lesions are seen in the retina and brain regions in which expression occurs.
