brpΔ190/brp69 and brpΔ190/Df(2R)brp6.1 flies have reduced fitness and eclosion rates compared to controls.

Mean T-bar height, mean T-bar platform width and mean T-bar pedestal width are significantly reduced in the active zones of mutant third instar larvae compared to wild type.

The mean evoked excitatory junctional current (eEJC) amplitude at the neuromuscular junction is reduced compared to wild type in mutant third instar larvae, while eEJC rise time and decay are not significantly different from normal. The frequency, mean amplitude, rise time and decay of the spontaneous mEJC are also not significantly different from wild type in the mutant larvae.
