Description

Imprecise excision of the progenitor P{PTT-GB}bocks^CB03586 insertion, resulting in a deletion that extends upstream from the original insertion site at +11 in bocks (this results in a lack of bocks protein expression in the mutant). The deletion also removes the first promoter of the upstream CG8312 gene, although the level of transcription of CG8312 appears unaffected in mutant larvae (as assayed using quantitative real-time PCR).
