Expression of foxoNK.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4C-765 and Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 in the wing, and Scer\GAL4ey.PU and Scer\GAL4GMR.PU in the eye results in reduced organ size compared to controls.

Expression of foxoNK.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO results in starved larvae that undergo the 'critical weight' ecdysone peak late and at smaller sizes than in parental controls but earlier than in flies expressing wild type foxo (foxoScer\UAS.cKc). Pupae are larger than parental controls, but smaller than those expressing foxoScer\UAS.cKc.

foxoΔ94/Df(3R)Exel8159 mutant starved larvae that express foxoNK.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO reach the 'critical weight' ecdysone peak later and at larger sizes than controls, but earlier and at smaller sizes than larvae that express foxoScer\UAS.cKc.

Prothoracic gland size is reduced in larvae expressing foxoScer\UAS.cKc under the control of Scer\GAL4P0206 to a similar extent to larvae expressing foxoScer\UAS.cKc.
