      Wandering mutant larvae and pupae expressing krist51 in a Df(3)07084 mutant background are much smaller and thinner than controls. Mutant pupae rarely make it to the pharate adult stage and never eclose as adults.

      Expression of PBac{CH322-05D15.st51} (comprising the mutant krist51 and wild type mad2+tCH322-05H15 and S6k+tCH322-05H15 alleles) partially rescues the lethality seen in Df(3)07084 mutant flies. A large number of animals reach the wandering larval stage and form pupae but significant larval lethality is seen.
