Ubiquitous overexpression of Tcs3Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in larger wings compared with wild-type. The animals overexpressing Tcs3Scer\UAS.cRa are larger than wild-type. Flow cytometry analysis shows that the wings of transgenic animals are composed of larger cells than those of control siblings.
Clones of cells overexpressing Tcs3Scer\UAS.cRa in the fat body grow larger than controls.
