Blocking neural transmission in Scer\GAL40987 (L4)-expressing neurons results in moderate defects in motion-evoked rotation and translation behavior in population studies in which flies are exposed to random dot motion stimuli.

Blocking neural transmission in Scer\GAL40987 (L4)-expressing neurons does not result in defects in turning responses to rotational visual motion.

Additionally silencing Scer\GAL40987 (L4)-expressing neurons does not enhance the defects in rotational visual motion response seen when Scer\GAL4c202a (L1)-expressing neurons are silenced.

Additionally silencing Scer\GAL40987 (L4)-expressing neurons does not enhance the defects in rotational visual motion response seen when Scer\GAL421D (L2)-expressing neurons are silenced.
