Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Ubiquitous expression of jhamtScer\UAS.cBa, under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 elevates the level of JHB[[3]] biosynthesis, but does not affect juvenile hormone III or methyl farnesoate levels. No alteration is found in the percentage of animals that successfully complete the developmental processes of hatching, pupation or eclosion.

jhamt activity is 2- to 2.5-fold higher in wandering third instar larvae expressing jhamtScer\UAS.cLa driven by Scer\GAL4Aug21 than in controls lacking jhamtScer\UAS.cLa.

In vitro juvenile hormone biosynthesis is about 2.5-fold higher in the brain-ring gland complexes of wandering third instar larvae expressing jhamtScer\UAS.cLa driven by Scer\GAL4Aug21 than in controls lacking jhamtScer\UAS.cLa.
