        Silencing of neurons expressing Scer\GAL4E347 results in increased larval floating in a density-based assay for body fat content, a small but significant decrease in larval body weight, and elevated levels of fatty acids in lipid extracts from whole larvae. Activation of neurons expressing Scer\GAL4E347 results in decreased larval floating in a density-based assay for body fat content.
