      Expression of Vps8T:Ivir\HA1 rescues the semilethality, nephrocyte enlargement and function defects, nephrocyte late endosome and endolysosome fragmentation, and nephrocyte α-vacuole absence of Vps81/Vps81 and Vps81/Df(3L)ED211 mutant flies, and rescues the increased hemocyte number, melanotic tumor formation, and defective hemocyte bacteria-containing endosome trafficking of Vps81/Df(3L)ED211 mutant flies.
