      The impaired male pheromone (cis-vaccenyl acetate, cVA) detection characteristic for Snmp11/Snmp12 adult males is partially rescued by expression of ninaDScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Or67d.PF : the lack of Or67d neuronal activity (measured by extracellular recordings in individual sensilla) is weakly rescued but only when the cVA is delivered in close range (as opposed to in an air-stream - in that assay no rescue is observed at all).
