      wgBRV-ΔC homozygotes are viable and do not present obvious developmental defects, but adults often hold their wings in an outstretched position; these individuals do not shows any obvious defects in wing regeneration following rpr-induced damage to the third instar wing disc pouch, as compared to wild-type controls.
