      Expression of Vdes\TrpA1Scer\UAS.L under the control of Scer\GAL4TrpA1.PU partially suppresses the increased temperature preference seen in TrpA11 mutant flies, but also leads to a broader temperature range preference as compared to wild type.

      Expression of Vdes\TrpA1Scer\UAS.L under the control of Scer\GAL4TrpA1.PU fully suppresses the delayed initiation of escape behavior in response to touch with a 46[o]C probe seen in TrpA11 mutant larvae.
