The expression of egrUAS.Venus under the control of Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 leads to a smaller wing disc, as compared to controls. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ, however, does not have an obvious effect on the growth, patterning and apoptosis levels (cleaved caspase 3 immunostaining) in the wing disc, which is in agreement with a normal adult wing, as compared to controls

The expression of egrUAS.Venus under the control of Scer\GAL4r4 in a Alg3tid1/Alg3tid2 transheterozygous background leads to an increase in cell death (DCP-1-positive cells) in the wing disc, as compared to controls.

The apoptosis observed in dlg1A40.2 mutant wing disc tumors is significantly increased by the expression of egrUAS.Venus under the control of the Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ driver.
