80% of eggs with fully mutant Tm1^KO border cell cluster clones display defects in border cell migration defects. Tm1^KO mutant follicle cell clones show reduced formation of basal stress fibers as detected by phalloidin staining. Eggs from Tm1^KO mosaic females (carrying random heat-shock induced Tm1^KO mutant clones) are often round (not elongated as in wild-type).
