The expression of Zzzz\UGGAA22.Scer\UAS under the control of either Scer\GAL4GMR.PS or Scer\GAL4elav-C155 results in no obvious defects in the adult eye morphology, as compared to controls. Adulthood expression by the combined control of Scer\GAL4elav.Switch.PO and RU486 treatment results in no obvious defects in lifespan or locomotor capacity in negative geotaxis assays, as compared to controls.
