      Expression of slgAUAS.A under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf leads to a significant increase in aggressive behavior and a significant decrease in walking behavior (distance and velocity), but does not affect circadian rhythmicity or sleep (under either LD cycles or constant darkness), or resistance to starvation, as compared to controls. l-LNv neurons do not show changes in spontaneous or elicited electrophysiological activity. s-LNv neurons show an increase in the size, but not in the number, of mitochondria.

      An increase in aggressive behavior is also observed when Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf-driven expression only occurs during adulthood (using Gal80[ts] and induced by temperature shift from 19[o] to 25[o]C at eclosion).
