Description

The RMCE cassette of the Mi{MIC}CG46491MI03430 insertion has been replaced with a Trojan-GAL4 cassette. The insertion is within an exon of CG46492 and within an intron of both isoforms of CG46491 (phase 2 intron in each case). The cassette is not predicted to trap CG46492 as it is in an exon, and is not predicted to trap CG46491 because the reading frame of the Trojan-GAL4 cassette is out of frame with the annotated reading frame of the CG46491 proteins. However, GAL4 is expressed in the nervous system; it is not clear which of CG46491 and/or CG46492 is being trapped.
