The GMR45A08 enhancer fragment followed by the Drosophila synthetic core promoter (DSCP) is fused upstream of the p65(AD)::Zip+ hemidriver (component of a 'split driver' system, contains the p65 activation domain).
Comment: when combined with P{R83H09-GAL4.DBD} (combination referred to as 'SS01411')
Inhibition (using Hsap\KCNJ2UAS.EGFP or Ctet\TeTxLCTNT.UAS) of neurons targeted by the split-GAL4 pair of Scer\GAL4DBD.R83H09 and Hsap\RELAAD.R45A08 in larvae significantly reduces the phase delay between contraction of transverse muscle LT2 and longitudinal muscle LO1 during peristaltic waves, compared to controls.
