Description

A 1.8kb fragment from -1604bp to +247bp relative to the elav transcription start site (minimal enhancer for neural expression) is fused upstream of a minimal Hsp70 promoter followed by sequence encoding the TALE1-VP64 driver (an artificial transcription activator that forms part of a binary expression system with the VAS1 DNA sequence).
