In the third instar larval stage, ScerGAL4^SIFaR.PS drives expression in a bilateral pair of neurons per larval abdominal neuromere. In adults, it drives expression in all brain areas that are innervated by SIFa positive neurons and , in females, two neurons of the uterus that extend into the central nervous system. In the brain, some peptidergic neurons were individually positive for FMRFa or AstA.
