Adulthood expression of SREBP^{dsRNA.UAS.cUa} under the combined control of Scer\GAL4^NP0001 and Gal80[ts], induced by shifting adults to 29[o]C for 2 days before the experiment, leads to a significant decrease in lipid droplets (ie number, size and relative cellular content) in the adult midgut epithelium, as compared to controls.
