      Expression of Gfat2UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Tub.PU in midgut MARCM clones leads to a significant increase in cell number per clone, which is more pronounced in calorie-restricted conditions, compared to control adults.

      Expression of Gfat2UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4NP7397 but not Scer\GAL4Su(H).GBE leads to a significant increase in dividing (pH3+) midgut cells when compared to control adults.
