      Induction of Hr3dsRNA.UAS.cMa by Scer\GAL4ap-md544 generates a bending up of the adult wing, indicating that normal growth of the dorsal wing blade is restricted, with no obvious detrimental effect on the differentiation of the wing.

      When co-expressed in the dorsal wing compartment with either S6kUAS.cMa or in combination with Hr3EY05451 or Hr3EY10268, Hr3dsRNA.UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 completely suppresses the bent-down wing phenotype.

      Co-induction of Hr3dsRNA.UAS.cMa suppresses the bent-down wing phenotype seen upon induction of both S6kUAS.cMa and Hr3RB.UAS in the developing wing disc under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544.
