The loxP cassette containing a w+mW.hs marker has been excised from TI{TI}PKD26. A single loxP site remains.
PKDcl4 homozygotes do not show any apparent phenotype with respect to development, size, or the overall pattern of the external organs. Females show normal fecundity. Adults show normal resistance to oxidative stress, starvation and high sugar diet. Larvae do not exhibit significant weight changes, as compared to controls. There are no defects in border cell migration behavior during oogenesis and there are no defects in pole cell number or pole cell migration behavior during embryogenesis.
