      p535A-1-4 adults expressing p53UASp.A (one or two copies) under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.PG (one or two copies) do not exhibit any changes in the number of female germline stem cells under normal conditions compared to controls.

      Expression of p53UASp.A under the control of Scer\GAL4VP16.nos.UTR in p535A-1-4 background leads to severe defects in the daily egg production and severe morphological defects in germline cells in females when compared to controls.

      Under normal conditions p535A-1-4 females expressing two copies of p53UASp.A under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.PG (one or two copies) exhibit severely decreased fertility (number of pupa produced per day) compared to controls.
