      Sox100Bd1 clones in adult posterior midgut exhibit significantly increased number of cells per clone with a significantly reduced cell size compared to controls. Within mutant clones the proportion of Prospero- or Pdm1-positive cells is significantly reduced and the majority of mutant clones do not contain any Pdm1-positive enterocytes when compared to controls.
