A mCherry tag has been inserted into the endogenous sgg locus, at the C-terminal end of the open reading frame of the PB isoform (this protein isoform is identical to isoforms PC, PE, PF, PH and PI, and the tagged exon of the PB isoform is also shared by isoforms PG, PD, PP and PN).
