Description

Sequence including the peg intron and the GAL4 coding sequence has been reintegrated into the peg locus using the TI{mCherry}pegpTV insertion. This results in a peg locus which lacks the peg coding sequence, but in which the peg intron is present. The GAL4 coding sequence plus a loxP cassette containing w+* is present downstream of the peg intron.
