UAS regulates expression of full-length msi with the catalytic domain of the RNA-editing enzyme Adar (Tag:ADARcd) fused to the C terminus. In vivo, it behaves as a dominant-negative protein.
The expression of msiUAS.Tag:ADARcd under the control Scer\GAL4Or10a.PF results in the axons of or10a-expressing ORNs mistargeting to the VA7m glomerulus.
