Description

Deletion of sequence from -9 to -37 relative to the Ype transcription start site. Associated with this deletion, a sequence cassette that includes a w+* marker, donor plasmid sequence (AmpR and ColE1 sequence) and a single 48bp FRT site has been inserted 28bp upstream of the Ype 5'UTR. Sequence in the 3'UTR has been changed from GGCCATCTACTCaatacttAGGG to GGCCATCTACTCtaccctataAGGG.

Comment:

Deletion of sequences from -9 to -37 relative to the Ype transcription start. One of three alterations in mutant.

Comment:

Reported as a change from GGCCATCTACTCaatacttAGGG-> GGCCATCTACTCtaccctataAGGG (on the noncoding strand). One of three alterations in mutant.

Inserted_sequence:

TATAGGGTA

Comment:

Insertion of a 5,600bp sequence cassette that includes a w+* marker, donor plasmid sequence (AmpR and ColE1 sequence) and a single 48bp FRT site 28bp upstream of the Ype 5'UTR. One of three alterations in mutant.

YpeChi-A leads to an incompletely dominant dark body color in females. YpeChi-A males exhibit a dark body color, curved wings, ectopic scutellar bristles, and exhibit difficulty in emerging from the pupal case. YpeChi-A/Ypes1 females exhibit a dark body color and ectopic scutellar bristles.
