Description

The RMCE cassette of the Mi{MIC}fussMI13731 insertion has been replaced with a Trojan-GAL4 cassette. The insertion is in a 5'UTR intron of fuss and is thus not predicted to trap fuss or express GAL4. However, strong restricted GAL4 expression is seen in the third instar larval brain and ventral cord. It is possible that this expression may reflect that of the lncRNA:sphinx lncRNA that is nested in the 5'UTR of fuss and lies approximately 1.5kb from the Mi{Trojan-GAL4.un}fussMI13731-TG4.un-X insertion site.
