Description

UAS regulates expression of Hsap\SPTSSA with a H59L mutation, in the context of a "UAS-scSPT" construct that encodes "single chain SPT" (scSPT) expressing the three human SPT subunits (encoded by Hsap\SPTLC2, Hsap\SPTSSA and Hsap\SPTLC1), tagged with Tag:HA. Hsap\SPTSSA H59L is analogous to the mouse 'Sptssb' p.H56L variant that causes elevated sphingolipid synthesis and neurodegeneration.
