The entire wit locus, including most of the follicle cell enhancer have been deleted (only 217bp of the 1261bp witZ enhancer remains). A sequence cassette encoding 1. a loxP cassette encoding a Disc\RFPDsRed.3xP3.cUa marker, and 2. an attP site, has been inserted in place of the deleted sequence.
