Description

The same lesion as in Df(2R)Hey-UPcr, a 149bp deletion upstream of Hey that extends from -1829 to -1978 relative to the Hey transcription start site (removing 2 of 3 Su(H) protein binding sites in this region and removing part of the CG11191 3'UTR) has been introduced onto the HeyIN2cr chromosome (HeyIN2cr carries a 553bp deletion in the second intron of Hey that removes all four Su(H) protein binding sites in this region, this deletion extends from +1505 to +2058 relative to the Hey transcription start site).
