Description
Description
The Protein Kinase C (PKC) family are serine/threonine kinases which can be divided into three subfamilies - classical, novel and atypical, depending on their mode of activation. PKCs are regulated by auto-inhibition through a pseudosubstrate site located in the regulatory domain. (Adapted from PMID:20094051 and FBrf0152086).
