Description
Description
The Protein Kinase C (PKC) family are serine/threonine kinases. PKCs are regulated by auto-inhibition through a pseudosubstrate site located in the regulatory domain. Members of the classical PKC (cPKC) subfamily require diacylglycerol and Ca[2+] for activation. (Adapted from PMID:20094051 and FBrf0152086).
