Description
Description
Atypical Heat Shock Proteins 70 consist of Grp170 and Hsp110 families and are classed part of the Hsp70 superfamily. Although they possess weak ATPase activity, their major role is as co-chaperones, acting as nucleotide exchange factors for canonical Hsp70. (Adapted from FBrf0232270, PMID:26913285, PMID:29908125 and PMID:17441502).
