Description
Description
Alpha-mannosidases catalyze the cleavage of terminal mannose linkages from N-linked oligosaccharides (Man(9)GlcNAc(2)). Class I α-mannosidases (GH47) are involved in the processing and quality control of N-glycans, and Class II α-mannosidases (GH38) are involved in the building and catabolism of N-glycans.
