Comments concerning this interaction

Source was adult thoraces of transgenic fly line; bait produced from tagged transgenic construct; prey produced from endogenous gene.

Lasp missing the SH3 domain or containing the mutation resulting in the amino aid change Y121S interact with myosin at background levels.

Comments concerning this interaction

Source was adult indirect flight muscle of Act88F mutant fly line; Lasp produced as a recombinant fusion protein in bacterial system; myosin derived from adult extract.

Lasp probably interacts directly with Mhc since in Act88F mutants, the indirect flight muscles are almost completely devoid of Actin.

Recombinant Lasp was incubated with myosin thick filaments from indirect flight muscle, then thick filaments and any associated proteins were pelleted by ultracentrifugation.

Comments concerning this interaction

Source was adult thoraces of transgenic fly line; bait produced from tagged transgenic construct; prey produced from endogenous gene.

Mhc was enriched in Lasp-GFP coimmunoprecipitation compared to GFP-only coimmunoprecipitation.
