Comments concerning this interaction

Bait protein was mislocalized to apical plasma membrane with co-expression of GrabFP-Aint. GrabFP-AInt encodes an apically-localized GFP-specific nanobody that targets GFP-containing fusion proteins to the apical side of the plasmamembrane. The ability of GrabFP-Aint to disrupt prey protein localization was taken as evidence of direct bait-prey physical interaction.

Source was larval eye-antennal discs of transgenic fly line; bait produced from tagged transgenic construct; prey produced from endogenous gene.
